We are thrilled to announce:
ARTIST HONOREE
Lynn Hershman Leeson
HONORARY CHAIRS

Museums by Moonlight is an elegant black tie gala benefiting two extraordinary art museums: the Cantor Arts Center and the Anderson Collection at Stanford University. Held only once every two years, this much anticipated event begins with cocktails under the stars followed by a sumptuous dinner and dancing in the Rodin Sculpture Garden. Guests have exclusive access to the galleries throughout the evening—and in 2024, we will celebrate the Anderson’s 10th anniversary and enjoy a special preview of a major new exhibition opening as part of the Cantor’s Asian American Art Initiative.

Supporting Our Mission
Support from this gala directly benefits the extraordinary depth and breadth of visual arts programs serving the Stanford campus, greater Bay Area community, and beyond. The impact of these programs extends to K-12 schools in three counties; Stanford students, staff, and faculty; and members of the general public from across the nation and around the globe.
Specifically, support from Museums by Moonlight makes the following possible—and so much more:
- Free admission for all visitors year-round
- Free school programs and tours for K-12 students
- Free docent tours, talks in the galleries, and art-making activities
- Free digital programs to complement on-site visits
- Free exhibition publications to extend the museum experience
