Build Your Own Migration Station

March 14, 2021 at 11:00am

The Anderson Collection offers family activities every Second Sunday of the month in collaboration with the Cantor Arts Center! During shelter-in-place, we offer a Zoom session with hands-on art activities at 11:00AM PDT.

This month, our art-making activity is inspired by Do Ho Suh’s journey. His art is a visual expression of the feelings he experienced upon leaving his home in Korea and making new homes in different places around the world. Join us as we learn to build a birdhouse from everyday objects and express feelings about home and our connections to a place. During the artmaking process we will think about moving from home to a new place – much like migratory birds.
