The panel will include the artist and members of the Stanford Medical School
The opening exhibition reception for the work of Kerry Tribe, followed by a panel discussion on Kerry Tribe’s 2017 film video installation, Standardized Patient, takes place on Thursday, March 7. A reception will precede the panel, beginning at 5pm, followed by the panel at 6:15pm.
It will feature Kerry Tribe, artist, filmmaker and visiting Lecturer through the Presidential Residencies on the Future of the Arts (hosted by Stanford Arts Institute) as well as:
- Dr. Maren Monsen, Filmmaker in Residence, Medicine and the Muse, Center for Biomedical Ethics
- Bronwyn Scott, a second year student who works with Standardized Patients
- Karen Thomson Hall, the Director of the Standardized Patient Program
- Moderated by Peggy Phelan, the Denning Family Director of Stanford Arts Institute and Professor of Theater & Performance Studies and of English.
